The ambitious young British detective Miranda Blake and her laid-back German partner Max Winter join forces to fight crime on the picturesque island of Mallorca.
Total opposites Miranda Blake, a Detective Constable with London's Metropolitan Police and Max Winter, a German detective, are teamed up to solve crimes, generally ones committed against the international community, on the island of Mallorca.

While protecting a famous Real Mallorca football player from death threats, Max and Miranda uncover dodgy deals and illicit love affairs in the world of top-flight football.
Miranda and Max investigate death threats against Rico Alonso, star player for Real Mallorca, due to move to a German team for 40 million euros. Suspects include his best friend Carlos retired through injury, Rico's football manager, and an obsessive fan who doesn’t’ want him to go and his agent and his mother who does want him to go. When Carlos is murdered attention turns to Rico's mother who used to follow Rico and Carlos's career as young teammates.
