Miami-Dade County has struck an almost million-dollar marketing deal with Rockstar Games — the company behind the next Grand Theft Auto video game. Many commissioners said they were not aware of the agreement before the budget meeting.

Miami-Dade Commissioner JC Bermudez and Miami-Dade Sheriff Rosie Cordero-Stutz came spoke out Thursday in opposition to the county's proposed plans to rename parts of Miami International Airport to "Vice City Airport," a nod to GTA VI's fictionalized version of Miami.
